Indonesian maritime geopolitics in the Indo-Pacific region

The Indo-Pacific is currently a region that has a high potential for the advancement of world civilizations. Many scientists have compiled various forecast of the importance of the Indo-Pacific region for accelerating economic growth in many countries. On the other hand, this region also has several vulnerabilities stemming from conflicts of national interest of many countries. Maritime border disputes and conflicts over claims od a number of islands or archipelagos have a significant impact on the foreign policy of these countries. Maritime geopolitics is a real form od modern geopolitics that emphasizes spheres of influence rather than physical domination. Looking ahead in the Indo-Pacific region, maritime geopolitics should be optimized.
