The Book Program: Kolintang Goes to UNESCO describes a cultural event that celebrates the rich heritage of Indonesian traditional music and clothing with an Indonesian ethnic concert and fashion show. Distinguished figures, such as the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, the Minister of Education and Culture, and the Indonesian Ambassador to Australia and Vanuatu, provided various information for the book. The book showcases the collaboration between PINKAN INDONESIA and Suprana School of Performing Arts, which features a program of regional songs from various regions such as North Sulawesi, Jambi, Maluku, and Papua. In addition, the event honors Mr. Iwan Tirta, a batik design maestro, through a fashion show featuring a beautiful batik collection.
