This first science and technology indicators report has been prepared by staff of BPP Teknologi and PAPIPTEK-LIPI with the assistance of the U.S. National Research Council. We have attempted, in the preparation of this report, to develop series of indicators on the state of science and technology in Indonesia. These indicators should be of particular interest to policy makers concerned with the S&T and industrial development of the country.
