PYC International Energy Conference 2019 proceeding : The Role of New, Renewable and Clean Energy in Achieving SDG7: Policy, Investment and Technology
The world is now moving to a more sustainable pathway. The UNDP introduced 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) in 2015 for bringing peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. The conference focused on the SDG number 7, providing affordable and clean energy. In the Plenary Session, four prominent speakers talked about the topic from different perspectives. Mrs. Megan Agyriou from ClimateWorks spoke on the global initiative, while Mr. Mohammad Rozani from the World Bank covered the economic perspective. Mr. Joel Kwong from BCG presented the policy perspective, and Mr. Jochen Gerber from G5-partners addressed the technology perspective. The session was moderated by Mr. Andi Novianto, a representative of Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of Republic Indonesia. The conference gave a wider and comprehensive perspective to provide affordable and clean energy to the people, especially in Indonesia.
