Multinationals and Indonesian energy development

In August of 1988 and in February of this year Indonesia's Minister of Mines and Energy, Ginandjar Kartasamita, introduce d two ten point packages of new incentives to the Product ion Sharing Contract. These were intended to stimulate exploration and result in increased proven reserves which will provide Indonesia with higher sustainable production levels well into the next century.
