Energy Policy and Planning Seminars-Training materials : module 5 pricing and conservation issues part 1

Part 1 of Module Five on Pricing Issues contains eight of the readings suggested for the Energy Policy and Planning Seminars conducted by the Finance, Industry, and Energy Division of the Economic Development Institute. Part 2 of Module Five has been printed in a separate volume. It contains selected readings on Non-price Conservation Issues. Each volume includes a curricular deseription of the Energy Policy and Planning Seminar, a summary of each of the eight training modules, and a partial listing of the readings for the whole seminar. The first five modules are currently available for distribution. These readings have been collected from a wide range of sources for the convenience oftrainers and participants. The selected readings discuss policy issues and measures designed to encourage efficient consumption, production options, and development plans in the energy sector. They are intended to enhance the awareness and analytical capabilities of the participants.
