Testing times : the future of the Scandinavian electricity industry

After ten years of reform and ongoing restructuring of the Scandinavian electricity market, it is time to take stock of what we have achieved so far. This book basically do three things: firstly it evaluates what have happened and what we have learned so far from liberalising electricity nmarkets in Scandinavia and elsewhere, secondly it develops a diagnosis of what needs to be done to ensure that the Scandinavian electricity reform remains a success story, and finally it develops scenarios that highlight the important decisions to be made in politics and the commercial sphere that will determine where this sector may go over the next eight years.
