Asia-Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate
The Asia-Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate (APO) brings together Australia, China, India, Japan, the Republic of Korea, and the United States of America to address the challenges of climate change, energy security, and air pollution in a way that encourages economic development and reduces poverty. The AP6 is focused on the development and deployment of cleaner, more efficient technologies. This partnership is unprecedented in the way business, government, and researchers have agreed to work together. It is also the first time that industry has been afforded an opportunity to participate as equal partners in international climate change discussions.
