The author, born in Alicante in 1944, has had a distinguished career as a naval officer, including roles as a naval pilot, commanding officer of various ships, and Spanish Defence Attaché in Thailand and the Philippines. With a specialization in Naval Artillery and a background from the Naval War Staff College, the author has earned numerous decorations, including the "Most Sublime Order of the White Elephant" from the King of Thailand. Currently retired and residing in Madrid, he continues to contribute to literary and military communities.
