Intermediate microeconomics and it's application : second edition
"This book is intended for use by undergraduates in an intermediate microeconomics course. It provides an elementary but rigorous introduction to the tools that economists have developed for studying the allocation of resources. By covering a somewhat broader range of topics than does the usual text (for example, factor markets, welfare economics, public goods, and property rights) and by including a number of carefully integrated empirical examples, the book seeks to illustrate the variety and fascination of modern economics.
Formal prerequisites for using this book are minimal: Some knowledge of introductory economics and a familiarity with principles of algebra and graphing (which are reviewed early in the text) should suffice. Most ""proofs"" in the book are presented intuitively and graphically. Calculus is used only in a few footnotes."
