Energy conservation policy, energy markets and the environment in developing countries : suspi migas XI-1991 12-24 Agustus 1991
There is increasing worldwide concern about the possibility of global climate change. The natural greenhouse effect will be enhanced by human activities which substantially increase the atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, CFCs, and nitrous oxide. The resulting global warming will be further enhanced by increases in the main greenhouse gas; water vapour. Increased level of materialistic human activities is also resulting in the depletion of the stratospheric ozone layer. The atmosphere and stratospheric ozone represent global commons upon we all equally depend for our survival.
