Invitation to economics : sample chapters 1 through 13

The purpose of this book is to combine into a single volume the essentials of macroeconomics and microeconomics. Much of the material was, in fact, drawn from two narratives, 'What is Economics?' and 'Investigating Microeconomics'. Of interest to those who teach Principles of Economics are new chapters on international trade - reflecting the greater role that the world economy plays in each and every nation. Note too, the microeconomics section containing a greatly simplified indifference curve and equal product curve analysis designed specifically for the beginning student.
